Log home Saapunki is a creation of architect Hannu Hiltula, who is from Kuusamo. The starting point for design was the customer’s wish for windows that are as large as possible. This wish is most apparent in the lounge, where the landscape windows that are the width of the entire lounge provide proximity to the surrounding nature. The landscapes wanted to be enjoyed both in the sauna and at the dining table. The gable roof, which descends in the longitudinal direction of the building, reaches a height of more than 6 metres.
Can be made using both CUTsystem and LOGsystem.
